i hadn’t heard of this vegan bakery on any blogs or quarrygirl or anything! and i had done my research on food, people! it was completely by accident that i found it and i almost couldn’t believe it. The only thing that made me nervous was it was vegan AND gluten-free. Usually i hate gluten-free baked goods, BUT it did not disappoint. my friend Dee is not vegan and will make it clear she is not when she’s hanging out with me, tease me about it, refer to me as her vegan friend, etc. but let me tell you, Dee loved this place. she loved the girl working there, loved the ice cream sandwich she got, even talked about it for days. that can only mean one thing coming from a non vegan—this place is good!! the girl working there when we went was rad. her name was zoiya (don’t know if i spelled that right..sorry). we talked vegan food in and around london. the ice cream sandwich she  made was great and made with swedish glace ice cream. i had this brand a few times in London and it’s seriously awesome. if we sold it in LA i’d buy it. so good! i left with 3 items to-go: their famous brownie, a chocolate chip cookie, and this giant brick of chocolate, raisins, and hazelnuts called a Chewie Wookiee Bar. i didn’t know if it’d be good, but it was seriously awesome. so, trust me and go the next time you are anywhere near london.
